Colorado at Los Angeles

The Colorado Avalanche and LA Kings both are coming off of strong seasons, and the anticipation is that they can both make a deep playoff run. The last meeting, and only meeting last season in LA, was won by Colorado 4-3. The win ran the Avalanche's dominance over the Kings to 9-2 in the last 11 meetings and ran the Avalanche's record to 5-0 in their last five trips to LA. The Avalanche has outscored LA 17-9 in the five games. The remarkable thing in this series is the Kings playing at home have scored more than three goals in just two of the last 17 meetings here.
