Colorado at Columbus

Colorado is barely laying juice here against the worst team in the league. I'm buying. The Avs are off a very important win over the Kings, bringing them within two points of LA in the standings. They can't letdown here as they continue to fight for a playoffs spot. Colorado has only lost to Columbus once in their last nine meetings. As much as Colorado has struggled on the road, they are 10-4 the past three seasons away from home when facing a bad goalie like Steve Mason (goalies that save 89% or fewer shots). Columbus is off a win, but that's a bad omen as the Blue Jackets are just 2-14 this season following a victory. We don't often want to back Colorado on the road, but this is a good spot.
