The Boston Bruins won the President's Cup a year ago as they produced the most points in the rgular season, but fell short of the big prize, so this is a good team playing with a chip on their shoulder right now, having started the season a disappointing 1-2. They have company in that area tonight as they take on the Colorado Avalanche. What a difference a year makes for this Colorado team after skating their way to a perfect 6-0 start last year where they outscored their opponents 21-6. They have allowed eight goals in their first two games this year and have failed to score a single goal. One of those wins a year ago was a 2-0 win right here in Boston, but I think things will be different this year. The Avalanche finished poorly on the road a year ago, are off o an 0-1 start this year, and are now 0-6 in their last six on the road. The Bruins 43-16 in their last 59 here, not exactly a good venue for a team trying to get healthy. Play on Boston.
