Chicago at San Jose

The two worst teams in the NHL battle tonight although Chicago has the edge as it has split its past six games and the Sharks have lost three in a row while yielding 14 goals. Two of the Blackhawks' losses were in overtime. Alexandar Georgiev is expected to start for San Jose and he owns a 3.74 goals-against average with a 12-22-1 record. The Sharks have lost 50 of 60 against Western Conference opponents and 45 of 54 against the Central Division. Chicago has won five of the past six meetings and the Sharks have lost their past five home games and 17 of 20 overall. San Jose is last in the league allowing 3.76 goals per game.
