Chicago has moved toward respectability after a horrible start, and Marc-Andre Fleury also has settled down after a rough beginning with his new team. Fleury's goals-against average is down to 2.96 and he has won six of his last nine starts, although he needs to bounce back from a 6-2 loss against the Rangers on Tuesday. Chicago has won eight of the past 10 meetings, but the teams haven't met since January 2020. Montreal is having a nightmare season and has lost four straight, including 3-2 to Tampa Bay when Ondrej Palat scored the winner with 38 seconds left in the third period for the Lightning. The Blackhawks have won five of six as road favorites and they are 9-2 after scoring two or fewer goals their previous game. The Canadiens are 3-13 their past 16 games against the Western Conference.
