Chicago at Florida

Well here we have arrived at a total that just seems crazy, but it is the state of the affairs in the new NHL. The O/U 7 will probably draw a few bettors to the UNDER, but I happen to be in the other camp. Florida has shown steady offense over their last 12 games as the Panthers have scored 3+ goals in all but two of them, and are averaging better than 4.0 scores over the period. Put that together with a Chicago team that is 9-2-1 to the OVER in its last 12. The Blackhawks have scored at least four goals in each of their last five, but have a losing record in the 5 games with inconsistent goaltending. There is also the fact that seven of the last 10 between these clubs has eclipsed the total, and I'm playing this one OVER.
