Chicago at Florida

Not much was expected from the Chicago Blackhawks this season, and so far they're playing like a rebuilding team losing their first two games while allowing 10 goals to Tampa Bay. Florida is playing its season opener and still trying to improve in coach Joel Quenneville's second year with the team. The defense has been revamped, and the talent is there for the Panthers to make a much-needed improvement in that area. Chris Driedger is expected in goal as Sergei Bobrovsky is questionable with an illness. Either one has the advantage over the Blackhawks' goalies. Chicago has lost its last six road games dating to last season, and it's 16-35 with one day of rest. The Blackhawks' goaltending problems will continue. Play the Panthers.
