Chicago at Detroit

The best team in the NHL is a cheap, road favorite here. Chicago is down 3-2 in the series, but has loads of talent and balance; second in the NHL in goals scored, tops in goals allowed, and 3rd in killing penalties. This team was 18-4-2 on the road during the season, and we saw that talent on display the last game, busting out on offense in a 4-1 must-win game to stay alive. Center Jonathan Toews admits he feels as if a weight has been lifted off his shoulders now that he has that first playoff goal under his belt.  Chicago was 4-for-4 on the penalty kill Saturday and is 35-for-36 overall this postseason. They have also outshot Detroit 175-134. The Blackhawks, on a 42-16 run and won the Stanley Cup in 2010, are a team loaded with experience and confidence in big games. Detroit, on the other hand, is actually rebuilding and has a ton of youth on its roster. How will the kids handle a close out game as a dog? They failed the last test and will not get there tonight.
