Chicago at Detroit

Chicago gets another tough challenge against rival Detroit, two of the original six NHL teams. Chicago is getting huge prices now as they are off a 4-3 win over Columbus Friday as a -270 favorite. They also won by one goal in the last week as favorites of -180 and -300. Chicago is an UNDER team with that great defense, 9-2-1 UNDER the total playing on one days rest and 7-2 UNDER in the Blackhawks last nine road games. The Red Wings posted their third win in four games with a 2-1 shootout triumph over San Jose on Thursday. They are now 40-17 in their last 57 home games. They've won twice as a dog in the last three games of +125 and +155. They play their best defense at home where the UNDER is 11-5-2 in the Red Wings last 18 home games and 30-14-7 UNDER the total after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. When these teams meet, the UNDER is 18-7-1 in the last 26 meetings, including 5-1 UNDER the total in the last six meetings in Detroit.  I am calling it, Chicago's undefeated season comes to an end today.
