Carolina at Nashville

Carolina can close it out tonight after Jordan Staal scored off a rebound at 1:44 of overtime for a 3-2 victory in Game 5 on Tuesday night. It was the third overtime game in a row in the series and Alex Nedeljkovic had 23 saves and he has been in net for every game. Nedeljkovic is 18-5-5, including the playoffs, with a 1.94 goals-against average and .931 save percentage. The Hurricanes are 20-6 their past 26 playoff games as favorites and they have won 21 of 28 after giving up two or fewer goals their previous game. Also, Carolina has won 20 of the past 28 meetings and Nashville is 8-17 their past 25 versus .600 or better teams. Both of Nashville's home games have gone OVER and the Predators' offense was much better at home during the season against Carolina than on the road.
