Detroit has miraculously won two games in a row, including a 5-4 shootout victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday, but the chances of the Red Wings winning three straight are astronomical. Carolina has won two in a row following a 6-2 victory at Pittsburgh on Sunday when Morgan Geekie had two goals and an assist in his NHL debut, while Alex Nedeljkovic had 28 saves. Petr Mrazek is expected back in net for his first start since Feb. 22. Mrazek has a 2.71 goals-against average this season and a 20-16-2 record. The Hurricanes have won five of the last seven meetings at Detroit and the Red Wings are 18-38 with one day of rest and 20-55 their last 75 games versus the Eastern Conference.
