Carolina at Detroit

Detroit has lost three in a row, all by 3-2 scores, including Thursday's loss in overtime to Buffalo. The Red Wings tied it late in the third period, but Marco Scandella scored the game winner with a second left in overtime. The road team has won seven of the last nine meetings and the Hurricanes have won 10 of their last 12 against teams with losing records. The Red Wings are just 19-45 their last 64 games against Eastern Conference teams and 2-9 their last 11 home games. Also, Detroit is 1-6 its last seven games versus teams with losing records. Look for Carolina to get back on track and play the Hurricanes.
