Calgary at Vancouver

Calgary scored 220 goals last season, the fourth fewest in the NHL, while ranking 31st in shooting percentage and 19th on the power play. They have a couple of good forwards for the new season, but little scoring depth. This is the second of the back-to-back, after playing at Edmonton last night in a shootout. They managed a win despite getting outshot 35-22, while allowing two power-play goals. Meanwhile, Vancouver is home and rested, with a new coaching staff eager to get off to a good start. The offense ranked 12th in shooting percentage last season. The Canucks don't play many home games in the first month, so the Rogers Arena is going to be loud.
