Calgary at St. Louis

The St. Louis Blues will be in an ornery mood tonight as they dropped their opener 3-2 to the New York Rangers. This is a team that protects home ice as well as anyone, as they are 79-39 here in their last 118. Better than that, when they play at home off a home game they improve to 46-18 or win 72% of the time. This has been a tough matchup for the Flames as their offense has been highly erratic, and the Blues finished at 2-0-1 against them last year. Calgary has not shown to be much of a presence on the road where they own a woeful 23-48 mark in their last 71. This venue certainly hasn't aided their road cause as the Flames have taken it on the chin in each of their last four trips here, and nothing I see is looking to change that. Play on St. Louis.
