Calgary at Seattle

October 4, 2026
img8:00 PM Eastern

Calgary has been outscored 10-2 through its first two games, and I'm starting there because the price already knows it. Thursday's 6-1 loss to Seattle came with a power-play goal and another goal 32 seconds later, then a breakaway after a Flames defenseman fell. Saturday in Vancouver the Flames were ahead until the Canucks tied it early in the third, and then they gave up four goals in that period. Seattle is 1-1 after losing 3-1 at Edmonton last night. That game was tied until the final 2:27, and the Kraken scored once. Both teams are playing their third game in four nights, so Seattle's fresh-looking opener comes with no rest edge. A 6-1 score from Thursday is inflating the Kraken price, and Calgary at plus money is the better value. The same facts point to the UNDER. The Flames have scored one goal in each game, and Seattle managed one goal last night. Thursday's game went over because of a three-goal first period. It doesn't tell us how two tired lineups play the third game of a short stretch. Calgary isn't a better team than Seattle. It's a team that gets a better price than its play deserves in a game that stays tight. Take the Flames on the moneyline and take the UNDER tonight.
