Buffalo at St. Louis

Hard to believe, but yes, Buffalo has won eight straight games. The Sabres are worth riding at this low lay price. Buffalo came out of Christmas break and skated to a 4–1 road win against Boston two days ago. The Sabres accomplished this minus captain and star defenseman Rasmus Dahlin. He was in Sweden during the break attending to his fiancée, who had a heart transplant in the summer. The victory against the Bruins marked the first time since Dec. 7, 2023, that the Sabres won a game in which Dahlin didn't play. Dahlin is expected to return to the lineup today. Buffalo has won five road contests during its eight-game win streak. The Blues edged the Predators, 3-2, at home this past Saturday. St. Louis was outshot 32-20 in that game. The Blues have alternated wins and losses during their last seven games. They have not won consecutive games in three weeks. Take the Sabres.
