Buffalo at San Jose

The Shark Tank doesn't present the same problem it once did, as San Jose has not been very good in recent years. Buffalo has gotten a lot better than in recent years but the defense lags behind an offense that can put the puck in the net. The Sabres' last 3 games depict that as the combined goals scored by both teams in the 3 games is 26, or just about 9 a contest. San Jose has played 8 of their last 9 games on the road and will be fresh at home against a defense that is likely weak enough to awaken a sluggish offense. These teams have played wide-open hockey in recent meetings resulting in 4 of the last 5 playing over the total. I like this one OVER the total as well.
