A pair of rebuilding teams clash. Buffalo has only played one game and gets a break as big-ticket offseason acquisition Kyle Okposo will play after he missed Thursday's loss to Montreal. They are a big dog to an Edmonton team that is 2-0, but the Oilers also are rebuilding and have a long way to go. Both wins were against Calgary, a terrible defensive team, and the Oilers are 5-11 in their last 16 home games. Edmonton has allowed seven goals and 76 shots in the first two contests.
