Buffalo at Colorado

Buffalo has shown signs of life following a long losing streak and the Sabres had won three straight before losing 4-2 to Dallas on Tuesday. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped 29 of 32 shots, but the Stars won it with three goals in the third period. Luukkonen is probable tonight with a 2.95 goals-against average and he was the winning goalie in Buffalo's three recent wins. Colorado is on a five-game win streak, but the first four were against teams that have more losses than wins, including San Jose, Anaheim, Seattle and Utah.
