It has been a mediocre start for the Boston Bruins, especially by their high standards. They are 6-6-1 and the Leafs are right with them at 6-5-2. The difference is how they got here. The Bruins come in with a two game winning streak. Better than that, they are hot on the defensive end and in front of the net, shutting out their last two opponents. Toronto is on the opposite end of that. They take the ice on a two-game losing streak, producing just three total goals in the losses.
