The Pittsburgh Penguins attack looked unstoppable coming into this series, as they had scored 47 goals in 11 playoff games, when defenses usually tighten up. They had scored four or more goals in five of six games played at home, scoring three in their other game. The Bruins came in without intimidation and shut the Penguins out at home. The last time this Penguins team had been shutout was on February 1, 2012 at Toronto, and they had not been shutout at home in over two years. While I wouldn't expect to see that again, the Bruins have been doing some scoring themselves, as they have averaged 3.4 goals a game over their last seven playoff games. I like their confidence right now, and I think the scoring in game two goes up considerably, but Boston can get their share and look like a good choice on the puckline. The Bruins certainly have been unfazed by the Monday blues at 23-3 on Monday, but are also stepping it up at 6-1 in their last seven vs. a winning team. The Penguins have been left reeling after a home loss of three goals or more, at 1-6 in their last seven. Boston is 6-2-1 to the OVER vs. an opponent that scored two or less in their last nine, while Pittsburgh is 6-2 to the OVER in their last eight on a day of rest. Play on Boston on the puckline and the OVER.
