Boston has won two straight after defeating St. Louis 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday when Charlie McAvoy scored 48 seconds into the extra time to snap a season-high three-game losing streak. Jeremy Swayman had 20 saves for the Bruins and he is probable tonight with a 22-12-1-2 record and 2.33 goals-against average this season. Boston beat the Penguins 2-1 on Saturday to even the season series. Pittsburgh has lost six of its last eight games and starting goaltender Tristan Jarry is out with a foot injury. Backup Casey DeSmith is 8-5-2-3 with a 2.89 GAA and .907 save percentage. Both teams are battling for playoff position, but the Bruins are 12-4 their last 16 road games and 45-22 playing with one day of rest.
