The Bruins have had success with their two-headed goaltending tandem led by Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask. They have switched back and forth all season playing the hot hand. The problem for the Bruins right now is neither has the hot hand and they have alternated back and forth over the last three games, and have seen 11 goals pass through the net. The Islanders are a much improved team than the one that claimed one home win in a 12-game stretch of home games earlier in the season. They have actually had a winning home mark in their 23 played here, including 5-2 in their last seven. I'm playing on the under-the-radar NY Islanders in this one.
