Anaheim has used the draft, free-agent signings, and trades to earn a postseason berth for the first time since 2018, and the Ducks are taking advantage so far with an impressive first-round series win over Edmonton. The Ducks' net-front play will be more of a problem for Vegas, as Anaheim scored 10 of its 26 goals against the Oilers from the crease to the top of the faceoff circles. The Ducks won all three meetings this season by 4-3 scores, although the first two were in overtime. Lukas Dostal was the winner in two of them, stopping 57 of 63 shots. Vegas goalie Carter Hart won the last three games of the Utah series, but he allowed a total of 12 goals in Games 4,5 and 6. Hart finished 4-2 with a 2.57 goals-against average against the Mammoth.
