Anaheim at Los Angeles

After close home losses to the Golden Knights and Stars in their last two games, the Kings drop down in class today, hosting Anaheim. The Ducks upset Dallas at home in their last game, 3-1. Prior to that, however, the Ducks had lost nine consecutive games, with the last five defeats occurring by multiple goals. Even holding the Stars to one goal, Anaheim is still giving up an average of 4.7 goals per game during its last nine games. The Ducks have permitted five or more goals in seven of their last nine games. They now have the worst season defensive scoring average in the league. The Kings buried the Ducks, 6-1, when they hosted them in the last meeting on Dec. 27. Anaheim may be without its three top point scorers as Leo Carlsson, Troy Terry, and Cutter Gauthier are all day-to-day with injuries. Gauthier leads Anaheim with 20 goals. Take the Kings.
