Los Angeles Kings vs St. Louis Blues

Los Angeles is in double revenge after losing twice to the Blues this month, and the Kings will try to snap a five-game skid. Kings goalie Darcy Kuemper bounced back from a couple of rough outings and stopped 28 of 30 shots through overtime in the Kings' 3-2 shootout loss to the Blues on Wednesday. He is 18-8-7 with a 2.36 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage with two shutouts this season. Joel Hofer is expected to start for St. Louis and has a 3.08 GAA in 2024-25. The Kings have won 14 of their past 18 home games and they have won 19 of 26 home contests this season. St. Louis is playing a back-to-back after defeating Anaheim 4-3 last night. Take the Kings.

Los Angeles has won five of the past seven meetings, although this is this season's first one. The Kings had won five of six before losing their two against Vancouver and Dallas. David Rittich will likely be in net in this back-to-back spot and owns a 2.60 goals-against average for the Kings. St. Louis has lost six of nine home games, and 10 of the past 15 meetings with Los Angeles have stayed UNDER. The Kings are 4-0 in their past four games against teams that scored at least five goals in their previous game. The Blues have lost nine of 10 Saturday games. Los Angeles had beaten the Blues five straight times before losing 4-3 in overtime on Jan. 28. The Kings have an opportunity to avenge that loss and win their fifth in seven games after coming off a 3-0 victory over the New York Islanders on Monday. David Rittich had 26 saves in that game and he is expected in net again while owning a 10-4-3 record and a 2.19 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. St. Louis has lost six of nine although it did beat Boston 5-1 in the finale of a five-game road trip two nights ago. Fatigue may have started to set in as the Blues have played eight of their past nine games on the road and prior to Monday they had scored only 13 goals in eight games. The Kings have won 14 of 23 on the road and eight of 23 at home. David Rittich is probable in net for Los Angeles and he 4-1-2 with a 1.86 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage in limited action. The Kings will try to end a four-game win streak by St. Louis, which is still the underdog in this game as the Blues are playing their fourth game in six days and the past three were on the road and two went into overtime.
