Colorado has lost four of five against Western Conference opponents, including 3-1 to Vancouver on Monday. Mackenzie Blackwood is confirmed to start for the Avalanche and he is 7-10-3 this season, 1-1-0 since being acquired by the Sharks earlier this month. Alexandar Georgiev was part of that trade and he is likely to start for San Jose tonight after splitting his two decisions with the Sharks so far. If Georgiev doesn't go, San Jose has called up their top goalie prospect, Yaroslav Askarov, to take the place of Vitek Vanecek, who was struck in the face with a puck his last appearance. Askarov has played two games and has a 1.96 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage. Either way we are getting good value with the home underdog. Take the Sharks.
