Colorado had its three-game win streak snapped in a 5-2 loss to Washington on Friday when Justus Annunen was pulled after allowing three goals on six shots. Trent Miner replaced him and stopped 12 of 13 shots. Annunen is probable tonight as he seeks to redeem himself, and Avalanche still has won five of his past seven starts. He also owns a 2.93 goals-against average. Aleksei Kolosov is confirmed for Philadelphia and hasn't played since Nov. 5. Kolosov is 0-3-0 with a 3.92 GAA and an .863 save percentage. The Flyers are 1-5 as home underdogs of +151 to +200. Colorado has gone UNDER four of five road games and won seven of the past ten meetings. Philadelphia has won five in a row and the Flyers will be going against Alexandar Georgiev in net and he is 24-11-2 with a 2.95 goals-against average. Things are looking up for Philadelphia as it has won three in a row and six of 10 and this is the first meeting of the season with Colorado. The Flyers have allowed only six goals their past three games, including a 4-1 victory at Arizona on Thursday as Travis Konecny scored twice to back Carter Hart, who had 25 saves. Hart is 8-6-1 with a 2.45 GAA and .916 save percentage. The Avalanche have lost four of five following a 4-2 defeat at home against Winnipeg. The Flyers have won four straight against the Western Conference and they allow 2.73 goals per game this season and that is #9 in the NHL. Colorado Alexendar Georgiev has lost three of his past four starts. Philadelphia is getting good line value in this matchup and play the Flyers.

Colorado is playing poorly and has won just one of its last five, getting outscored 18-8. This is a team that has scored just five total goals in its last five losses. The Flyers have been knocking at the door with their last four losses, showing three of those by a single goal. I think they are catching Colorado at a very good time, as each team is struggling, but Colorado is losing big while Philadelphia has been right there.
