Colorado Avalanche vs Dallas Stars

Four of the past five meetings have gone OVER, including Monday's 4-3 overtime win by Dallas with Colin Blackwell scoring the game winner. The Stars hope to build on this win after scoring only two goals their previous two games. They have gone OVER six of their past eight Wednesday games and Dallas is 5-1 OVER its past six games as a road underdog. Dallas appears to have fallen apart in the past couple of weeks as the Stars have lost eight in a row after their 5-1 defeat at home in Game 1 of this series. The Stars are 0-6 in their past six games, playing with one day of rest, and they have lost six straight to Western Conference opponents. Colorado has won six of seven after scoring at least five goals in their previous game. Nathan MacKinnon scored a power-play goal and an empty-netter and added an assist in Saturday's win for the Avalanche. Mackenzie Blackwood had 23 saves for Colorado, and Jake Oettinger lost for the fifth straight time for Dallas, which has been outscored 23-8 in those games. Colorado improved its depth this season and had a winning road record. Nathan MacKinnon leads an offense that is sixth in goals scored, 11th in shooting percentage, and eighth on the power play.
