Calgary Flames vs Toronto Maple Leafs Betting Picks

Calgary has given up on its season. The Flames are tied for the third fewest points in the NHL. They recently traded Rasmus Andersson for youth, and there are trade rumors surrounding some of their other veterans. The Maple Leafs are a major disappointment, too. But they are not ready to punt their season, at least yet. However, a loss to the lowly Flames could speed that decision up. That shouldn't happen here, though. The Flames beat the Rangers 5-1 on Sunday when Blake Coleman scored twice to back Dustin Wolf, who had 29 saves. It was the first time Calgary had scored more than three goals this season, and benching Matt Coronato may have helped send a message to the rest of the team. Toronto has won seven of the past nine meetings, including a 5-4 shootout victory on Nov. 10. The Maple Leafs will try to snap a four-game skid after losing 4-2 to red-hot Edmonton on Tuesday.
