This is the third of four straight road games for the Bruins. That is bad on several counts for Boston. The Bruins just lost, 3-1, at Tampa Bay on Saturday. So they are playing with zero rest. Even worse is this is another away game for Boston. The Bruins have a losing road record compared to being 28-10-1 at home. Boston has lost 11 of its last 15 away contests, including, 3-1, to the Flyers on Feb. 28 when the Bruins and Philadelphia last met. The Flyers are off an impressive, 4-1, road victory against the Islanders this past Friday. This is a huge game for Philadelphia, which is in a four-way tie for the second and final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference. Boston, on the other hand, sits atop the East wild-card standings. The Flyers have five games remaining following this matchup. They go on the road for three straight games after meeting Boston so the Flyers should have a great deal of urgency to win for the fifth time in the last seven games. Take the Flyers.
