Nashville has an opportunity to finally get a win against Boston, which has been inconsistent this season. Goalie Jeremy Swayman is one of the reasons, as he has alternated good and bad performances that might be due to his signing a new contract just days before the season started. Swayman is 2-1-1 with a 3.59 goals-against average although he did stop 30 shots in a 2-1 overtime loss to Utah on Saturday. The Predators' struggles have been baffling, as they expected to win immedotaely with eight of their top 10 scorers returning, along with six of their top seven defensemen and their starting goalie.
