Arizona Coyotes vs Vegas Golden Knights

The teams have split two meetings this season with Arizona winning 2-0 and then Vegas getting payback with a 3-2 victory on Feb. 8. The Coyotes had won five of seven before losing their past two games against the New York Rangers and Vancouver. Karel Vejmelka will look to bounce back after allowing six goals against the Rangers, but that was after he allowed three or fewer goals in seven straight games for a 5-2-0 record. The Coyotes are in seventh place in the Central Division, but they have held their own at home winning 20 of 39. The Golden Knights have won 18 of 38 on the road. Vegas has won six of its past eight games after ending Edmonton's 16-game winning streak with a 3-1 victory on Tuesday night. Adin Hill stopped 30 of 31 shots for the Golden Knights, who are in second place in the Pacific Division. Arizona has lost three in a row while scoring only six goals and this will be the Coyotes' first game since the All-Star break - a span of 12 days. Connor Ingram will be in net for Arizona and Logan Thompson might give Hill a day off for Vegas. Thompson is 16-10-4 with a 2.77 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. Hill is 13-2-2 with a 1.88 GAA. Arizona has lost five of six against teams that allowed two of fewer goals their previous game and the Coyotes could be a little rusty after the long layoff and they have lost six of their past nine games. Vegas has stayed UNDER two in a row and six of eight following its 2-1 overtime win over Dallas on Wednesday. The Golden Knights just finished a rough road trip when they scored more than three goals just once. Adin Hill is probable in net for Vegas and he is 9-2-1 with a sparkling 1.97 goals-against average and .932 save percentage. Connor Ingram is confirmed for Arizona with a 6-3-0 record and 2.94 GAA and .910 save percentage. Six of the past nine meetings have gone UNDER and the Golden Knights are 7-3 UNDER their past 10 home games and 9-3 UNDER overall playing with two days rest. The Coyotes haven't had much luck scoring goals on the road against Vegas as they are 0-9 the past nine meetings at T-Mobile Arena. Play the UNDER.

Vegas broke its three-game losing streak Saturday in a 6-2 victory over Washington. Five skaters scored for the Golden Knights as Logan Thompson stopped 20 shots, breaking a mini-slump of his own. Adin Hill is likely in net tonight and he is 10-4-1 with a 2.71 goals-against average. Vegas has won eight of its past 10 meetings with Arizona, which lost again last night, 4-0 against Dallas (11th loss in 12 games). Karel Vejmelka is confirmed to start and he owns a 11-17-4 record and 3.36 GAA, losing his last eight-straight decisions. The Knights have won 16 of 21 on the road and they are 5-0-1 OVER after allowing two or fewer goals in their previous game.
