Arizona Coyotes vs Colorado Avalanche Betting Picks

Arizona has won two of three meetings this season and the Coyotes have a tendency to give Colorado tough games the last few years even when they are big underdogs. Arizona beat the Rockies 5-4 in overtime on Dec. 27 as a +151 underdog and 4-3 in overtime on Nov. 30 as a +155 dog. Arizona also has the scheduling advantage as the Rockies just completed a grueling six-game trip in which they went 1-5 capped by a 6-3 loss at Tampa Bay on Thursday. Georgiev is 16-8-1 with a 3.01 GAA and his probable counterpart will be Karel Vejmelka, who is 5-7-2 for the Coyotes, who suddenly have won four in a row following a four-game losing streak. Arizona always seems to give the Avalanche a tough time even while being a big underdog as the Coyotes are again today. Arizona had won three straight meetings before losing two close games earlier this month, including a 3-2 overtime defeat on March 11. Alexandar Georgiev is expected in net for Colorado, who was the winner on Friday in the win over the Coyotes and he allowed four goals in a 5-2 loss to Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Colorado has gone OVER five of six after allowing two or fewer goals its previous game and the Avs are 5-2-1 OVER following a win.
