Anaheim Ducks vs Nashville Predators

Nashville has won six straight against the Pacific Division and five straight overall, playing with one day of rest. Anaheim has lost seven of nine, although it did come off with a 5-1 win over Pittsburgh. The Ducks are 1-6 their past seven playing with one day of rest and 9-42 their past 51 games as home underdogs of +151 to +200. Nashville has won seven of nine meetings with Anaheim, which has lost 13 of 20 against Central Division opponents. The Ducks have gone UNDER six of nine home games, and they are 5-0-1 UNDER after scoring at least five goals in their previous game. Nashville is in double revenge after losing the first two meetings this season after winning the previous six against the Ducks. The Predators are on a four-game win streak after defeating San Jose 4-2 on Saturday and all the wins were on the road. Kiefer Sherwood had two goals and Gustav Nyquist and Filip Forsberg each scored once to back Juuse Saros, who made 32 saves against the Sharks, who likely will start Kevin Lankinen tonight. Anaheim lost its second in a row and fifth in seven games as Los Angeles got a 3-2 shootout victory on Saturday. It wasted a 48-save effort by John Gibson and Lukas Dostal is expected to start this game with an 8-14-1 record and a 3.73 goals-against average for the Ducks, who are 13-38 their past 51 home games and 12-41 overall against the Central Division. Anaheim actually has a much better record on the road winning seven of 16 compared to six of 23 at home, and the Ducks won the first meeting this season 3-2 on Nov. 14 with John Gibson stopping 28 shots. Gibson is questionable with an illness for this game and he if doesn't go it will be Lukas Dostel for Anaheim, which has gotten good work in net recently, but the Ducks are in a scoring drought. They look for that to end tonight and Juuse Saros is expected for the Predators and he gave up five goals against Calgary his last start on Thursday. He also allowed five goals in two of his previous three starts. Saros is 16-14-1 with a 3.01 goals-against average.
