San Francisco was outgained 361-173, and Brock Purdy was held to 127 yards passing with an interception. Sam Darnold was 20 of 26 for 198 yards and no picks for the Seahawks. The 49ers are playing on a short week and coming off a road game after a tough 23-19 win at Philadelphia, while Seattle had the luxury of a week off. Seattle has gone OVER four straight divisional playoff games, and it is 7-1 OVER after allowing fewer than 250 total yards in its previous game. Brock Purdy has the fourth-highest quarterback ranking in the league. These are players that can be trusted. Not so with Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold. This game decides the NFC West Division. Darnold does not have a good history in big games. He has been intercepted four times in his last four outings. Darnold has been picked off 14 times this season. That is the most in the NFC. Darnold could be missing his No. 2 wide receiver, Rashid Shaheed, who has a short week to clear concussion protocols after leaving Week 17’s game against the Panthers. Seattle won six of its final eight games in 2024, but now has a new starting quarterback in Sam Darnold, who unexpectedly had a breakout season with the Vikings before signing with the Seahawks. Granted, he had a superstar receiver in Justin Jefferson, but he now has talented targets in Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp. Darnold threw for 4,319 yards and 35 TDs with just 12 interceptions last year. The defense returns 10 starters after finishing the season strong. Seattle has covered four of six as an underdog. San Francisco was a money burner, finishing 1-8 ATS in its last nine games and losing seven of eight outright. The 49ers are 0-5 ATS in their past five road games, 1-6 ATS overall against NFC teams. The Seahawks have lost five of six with a 1-5 ATS record, including 26-20 in overtime to the Rams two weeks ago before their bye week. Seattle has gone UNDER three in a row, and Geno Smith threw three picks against the Rams, although he did have 363 passing yards and three TDs. San Francisco has won the past six meetings outright, and Seattle has lost seven of its past eight November games. San Francisco blew a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter for the second time this season, losing to Arizona, and Seattle QB Geno Smith was sacked seven times in a loss to the New York Giants. The Seahawks will have a problem stopping the 49ers running game as it averages 144 yards per game, and Seattle allows 128. Christian McCaffrey has been out, but the team hasn't missed a beat as Jordan Mason has rushed for 107 yards per game on 5.1 yards per carry with three TDs. Brock Purdy passed for 244 yards and a TD, but also threw two interceptions against the Giants. The Seahawks have allowed 71 points their past two games after giving up a total of just 43 their first three games of the season.
