Seattle at Arizona

Seattle is switching quarterbacks today, with Sam Darnold out and Drew Lock starting, and that's the fact that matters most here. But the Seahawks won last week by playing exactly how a Lock-led offense is supposed to play again: conservative, mistake-free, and leaning on a defense that held New England to 13 points despite the Patriots controlling the ball for over 34 minutes. Arizona was efficient in its own opener, controlling the ball for nearly 38 minutes in a win over the Chargers, but that came against a Los Angeles defense, not Seattle's. The Seahawks didn't turn the ball over once last week either, and a low-mistake, ball-control approach from both sides tends to keep games within a score, which is what this number is asking for. Arizona's offensive line and ground game are the strength of that team, and Seattle's defense will have to answer, but I trust that defense, which just held a desperate Patriots team to 13, not to hand Arizona the extra possessions it will need to pull away.
