Philadelphia at Tampa Bay

Sunday 09/16 01:00 PM Eastern

1.5 units on Tampa Bay +3.5 (-115) (risk 1.5 to return 2.8)  RESULT: WIN

Philadelphia barely escaped with a win over Atlanta in the season opener and the Eagles needed a lot of breaks, including an overturned call on a long pass reception that went against the Falcons. The Eagles had only 232 total net yards and Nick Foles was 19-of-34 for 117 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay lit up the scoreboard in its 48-40 upset win over the Saints. Ryan Fitzpatrick made fans forget suspended Jameis Winston when he threw for 417 yards and four touchdowns, including two scoring passes of more than 50 yards. Mike Evans caught seven passes for 147 yards and DeSean Jackson caught TD passes of 58 and 36 yards and finished with five catches and 146 yards. The Bucs needed to improve their running game and they got 112 yards on 34 carries from four players led by Peyton Barber, who rushed for 69 yards on 19 carries. Obviously, the Philly defense will be more formidable than the Saints' stop-unit, but the Buccaneers have covered four games in a row dating to last season and they are 8-3 ATS over their last 11 games when following an ATS win. The Buccaneers come into a home game with great confidence while the Eagles are still struggling on offense and could be experiencing a Super Bowl hangover. Play the Buccaneers.
