New York at Houston

Houston beat Jacksonville 34-31 last Sunday. The Texans score 24 points a game, 14th in the league, and allow 23.8, 20th. The Giants' last three games finished 36-24 over Arizona, 27-27 at Washington in overtime, and a 34-27 loss to New Orleans. Those games totaled 60, 54, and 61 points. Against the Saints, New York built a double-digit lead and then allowed 34 unanswered points. The Giants have scored 27 or more in each of those last three games, and they average 22.7 for the season, 18th in the league. Houston's defense allows 246 passing yards a game, 27th. The Giants' secondary is thin this week. Cornerback Greg Newsome II and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, and safety Jevon Holland was limited Thursday after a concussion. Houston throws well enough to use that. The Texans are fourth in the league at 285.7 passing yards a game, and receiver Tank Dell practiced in full on both days. The Giants' offense has been scoring against everyone lately, and this Houston pass defense is one of the weakest it has faced. I'm on the OVER Sunday afternoon.
