The much-anticipated opening of the 2014-2015 NFL season is here! We open with a very compelling matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers. The last time the Packers played in Seattle they were beaten by a controversial call on the game's last play that turned victory into defeat. The Packers are expected to challenge for the NFC Title this year, as a healthy Aaron Rodgers makes a world of difference. Seattle dominated last season, capping off the season with a complete  completely manhandle of the vaunted Denver offense in a no-contest Super Bowl. The Seahawks are clearly a strong contender to repeat, as their offense has matured another year and they get Percy Harvin back. This team has been all but unbeatable at home with their 12th Man in the stands. The Seahawks are 17-1 at home over the last two years including the playoffs, and came within 15 total points of a perfect season last year overall. So Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers will have their work cut out for them in going at a secondary that intercepted 28 passes last season. Russell Wilson has had a passer rating of 100+ in each of his first two seasons, somewhat negating, or matching what Rodgers has done in Green Bay. You may want to say that the offenses are even, or maybe even give Green Bay the slightest of edges. But, the difference here is defense. The Seahawks allowed 14.3 points per game last season while the Pack allowed 26.5 per game - a staggering 12 point difference. This game could very well be a close one, but Seattle simply does not lose in this building, and they have a big edge on defense. Take Seattle on the moneyline.
