Green Bay at Atlanta

Saturday 08/09 08:00 PM Eastern

4 units on Green Bay +3.5 (-110) (risk 4 to return 7.64)  RESULT: WIN

Green Bay 3rd string QB Craig Nall had a bad showing Monday night (pitched the shutout). Offensive coordinator Tom Rossley has already indicated that we will see more of Akili Smith this game. Akili has had his problems but lest us not forget that he was a starter in the NFL not long ago. Against Atlanta's third and fourth string D, I think he should do well enough.

No one likes to get blanked, even if the game "doesn't count." Teams that get shut-out in the preseason typically perform well against the spread the following week. Green Bay, an organization with a lot of pride, should be playing harder this game. Head coach Mike Sherman has done well in the preseason historically, going 7-5 before this year.
PLAYS: Green Bay +3.5 and straight-up to win
