Dallas arrives today after a 34-31 loss to Baltimore last Sunday, a game where I had the Cowboys with the points and cashed. The Cowboys have scored 37 and 31 in their last two games, and Dak Prescott’s offense sits at 29.3 points a game, with a third-down conversion rate of 57.14 percent, second in the league. Houston is 0-3 and scores 18.0 points a game, 26th. It has scored 6 and 17 in its last two games, and its run game is 30th at 84.7 yards a game. The Texans score on 66.67 percent of their red zone trips, tied for 30th in the league, and Nico Collins is questionable with a hamstring injury after a limited practice Thursday. Dallas allows 27.3 points a game, 25th, and that is the argument for Houston. Houston scored 31 in its opener and 23 across the two games since, so the offense that would use it has not been there. Side with Dallas on the spread.
