Baltimore vs. Dallas

I was against Dallas last week, and it cost me, watching the Cowboys hang 37 points on Washington one week after New York controlled the ball against them for nearly 37 minutes in a loss. That offense is clearly not the problem in Dallas right now. Baltimore has been the more complete team so far, but its defense has allowed at least 23 points in both games: a 41-23 win over Indianapolis followed by a 17-24 loss to New Orleans, where the Ravens couldn't hold a fourth-quarter lead. Two offenses averaging more than 28 points a game and two defenses that have each let opponents hang in the mid-20s describe a game that should stay competitive and keep scoring throughout. The value is in getting points with a Dallas team that just proved it can move the ball against a Baltimore defense with real cracks in it, and the same forces argue for a total that climbs into the 50s. Go with Dallas and the points today, and ride the OVER right alongside it.
