What a coaching job by Coach Bruce Arians thus far. The guy did a great job steering the Colts in an interim role last season, and now he comes to Arizona and may have the most overachieving team in the NFL. Arizona was actually a terrific defensive team last season, starting 3-0 (including a win at New England) before injuries gutted them. This season, the D has been solid all year at #17 against the pass, and #2 in the NFL against the run anchored by Darnell Dockett and Calais Campbell. That run defense will come in handy against Chip Kelly's no-huddle ground game. The Cardinals are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games on grass, and QB Carson Palmer has helped to stabilize the passing offense, ranked #12 in yards. Arizona loves to rotate a variety of players in on defense, and that will also help against a no-huddle Philly offense. The Eagles' offensive line is going to have its hands full against that Cardinals' defensive front seven. The Eagles' rushing attack has been less potent in recent weeks, and they are 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 games on grass. And forget about home field, Philly is 6-20-1 ATS in their last 27 home games including 1-11 since last season! And, the Cards have eaten up bad defenses like Philly's of late, going 7-0 ATS the past three seasons vs. teams that allow over 5.6 yards per play. These teams met last season too, and the Cardinals won 27-6. Philly is on a 4-1 run UNDER the total, and the UNDER is 4-0 in the Eagles last four home games. In his head coaching career, Arians is a perfect 9-0 UNDER in expected close games (line of +3 to -3). Play on Cardinals and take the UNDER.
