New York Jets vs St. Louis Rams Point Spread Picks

Both of these teams are playing for their lives in virtual must-win situations. The Jets enter at 3-6 while the Rams are in a similar spot at 3-5-1. St. Louis had a golden opportunity last week, with a lead against the Niners. They knocked Alex Smith out of the game with a concussion, but allowed the Niners to get the game to overtime. Then as they hit the game winning FG from over 50 yards, an offsides call pushed them back. They missed, ultimately settling for the tie. That game had to take a lot of the fight out of this team. The Jets can look horrific as they did last week vs. Seattle in a 28-7 loss, or great, as they did in a 35-9 win over Indianapolis and an overtime close loss on the road in New England. This is last call for the Jets, so I expect them to step-up or their season is over at 3-7. The Jets have had the tendency to shine in the darkest of moments, and after an offensive horror show where they gained less than 250 yards they have come back to go 12-5 ATS in their last 17. The Rams have trouble with consistency. Take New York plus the points here.
