New Orleans Saints vs Tennessee Titans Point Spread Picks

Neither team appears concerned with securing a higher draft pick, as Tennessee has won two of three and New Orleans has suddenly won three in a row. The Titans are 5-2 ATS in their past seven games and have gone OVER in five straight against NFC opponents. The Titans dominated Kansas City 26-9 on Sunday as Cam Ward passed for 228 yards and two TDs. Tony Pollard ran for 102 yards, his third-straight 100-yard rushing game. The Chiefs admittedly have quarterback injuries, but holding them to just 133 total yards is quite a feat for the Titans' defense. That performance deflated the posted total for this matchup, and Tennessee is actually 6-3 OVER its past nine games. The Titans are 9-1-1 OVER after allowing fewer than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. Tennessee has averaged 27.0 points in its past three games. Take the Titans and the OVER.

New Orleans got a 95-yard touchdown drive with Derek Carr running the offense, but it wasn't enough as the Saints fell 16-10 to San Francisco in Week 2. Backup Jake Haener was adequate as he was 7 of 13 for 76 yards and Spencer Rattler finished 4 of 8 for 27 yards for the Saints, who will have motivation to win their only preseason home game. Tennessee racked up 338 total yards, but still barely beat Seattle 16-15 as it took a walk-off field goal by Brayden Narveson to pull out the victory. New Titan coach Brian Callahan says he will play the starters just a few series with Will Levis likely getting most of the snaps. Levis led a pair of TD drives in Week 1 against San Francisco. Tennessee started 7-3 last year before injuries wore them down. The offense will be fine with veteran QB Ryan Tannehill, power back Derrick Henry, and new WR DeAndre Hopkins. Coach Mike Vrabel gets the most out of his defense, one that was No. 1 against the run in 2022 and third on third down (34.22%). The Titans are 62-38 ATS in non-conference action. New Orleans is favored but comes off a 7-10 campaign, including a losing record at home. They overpaid ($100 million guaranteed) for good but not great QB Derek Carr, who comes off back-to-back years of 23 TDs/14 picks and 24 TDs/14 interceptions. New Orleans plays its second straight game with backup QB Trevor Siemian after they lost starter Jameis Winston for the season. They lost 27-25 at home to Atlanta has a TD favorite, and they were down 24-6 before a late rally. Versatile and balanced Tennessee has no such concerns with QB Ryan Tannehill leading the team with the best record in the AFC. The Titans have won five in a row, including the last four as underdogs to Buffalo, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and at the Rams. They've been a dog five times this season and won all five.
