Tampa Bay didn't show up in the second half in Week 1 on the road, losing at Cincinnati. This team is not devoid of talent, off a 9-7 campaign. Tampa Bay's first and second stringers gave the Bucs a 9-6 halftime lead last week. Tampa Bay has a veteran QB punch of Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick and a boatload of receiving depth in Mike Evans and newcomer DeSean Jackson. It's a shorter trip this week, staying in-state to face Jacksonville. The young Jaguars are content after a win at New England but they are banged up. Jaguars QB Blake Bortles hurt his arm and the team cut down on his reps over the weekend. RB Leonard Fournette (foot) and WR Marqise Lee (ankle) did not practice and have been ruled out of Thursday's game against Tampa Bay. Last season under this coaching staff, Tampa Bay lost Week 1 , then in Week 2 won at Jacksonville, 27-21, with 219 yards passing and 158 rushing. They held the Jags to 79 yards rushing, just 3.8 ypc, as three Jacksonville backup quarterbacks had four picks. Look for the better, experienced team to win again. Play Tampa Bay.
