Indianapolis Colts vs Philadelphia Eagles Point Spread Picks

Indianapolis was 8-1 UNDER before the Colts went out and beat Las Vegas 25-20 in Jeff Saturday's first win as head coach. The Colts will face a much tougher defense this week as Philadelphia will be focused after losing their undefeated season on Monday night against Washington and the Eagles still are 3rd in the league in total yards allowed and 7th in scoring defense allowing 18.6 points per game. Indianapolis is yielding only 20.3 points per game as it has been mostly the offense that got Frank Reich fired and the Colts are averaging just 15.7 points and that is 30th in the NFL. The Eagles are 11-4 UNDER their past 15 November games and 8-2 UNDER after giving up at least 150 yards rushing their previous game. Indianapolis is 13-3 UNDER its past 16 games overall and 5-1 UNDER its past six home games. Philly QB Jalen Hurts is coming off a medicore performance against the Commanders finishing 17 of 26 for 175 yards with two TDs and an interception. Take the UNDER as a Max Play.

The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles have come out not looking like the team they were at the end of last season. the defensive front has done very well, the the Eagles have been getting torched in the air to the tune of 618 yards and more importantly 8.1 yards per attempt. The opponents QB rating sits at 95.18. The Colts offense was expected to be infused by the return of Andrew Luck. he has generated 241 yards a game in the air, but being on the field longer has helped the defense that through 2 weeks ranks #10 in tards allowed. This line looks like what it would have been last year, but Indy has played above that and the Eagles have been below. Indy has yet to allow better than 330 total yards, while the Eagles gave up 393 in the air alone last week. Looks like to many points here, make the play on Indianapolis.

Indianapolis lost on an interception of a two-point conversion try, but the good news was Andrew Luck played for the first time since last year and was eight-of-eight for 71 yards behind an improved offensive line. Backup quarterback Scott Tolzien also was effective completing 13 of 18 passes for 107 yards with no interceptions. In addition, the Colts gained 93 yards on the ground on 23 carries. Philadelphia beat Pittsburgh 17-0, however, the Eagles had the luxury of playing against Landry Jones, who threw four interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown by Nolan Carroll. Sam Bradford was 14-of-19 for 115 yards and Chase Daniel 10 of 16 for 82 yards. Carson Wentz is still recovering from an injury and won't play in this game but he's hoping he'll be ready for Week 4 action. The Colts lost their first two preseason games last year and then came back with a 24-14 win over the Rams in Week 3. The Eagles won their first home game and then beat rival Pittsburgh, but now they have another road contest against a Colts team that expects to play its starters for at least a half and have Luck and Tolzien both playing well.
