Indianapolis has covered the spread five games in a row as a favorite and Las Vegas is 0-4-1 ATS as an underdog of 3.5-10.0 points. The Colts apparently suffered a major letdown after defeating Pittsburgh the week before as they were defeated 29-10 by Atlanta on Sunday. The Colts had trouble running the ball, but they should have better luck this week as the Raiders are No. 22 in run defense allowing 122.2 yards per game. The Falcons took advantage of the Colts' struggling run game and zeroed in on Gardner Minshew, who threw for 201 yards with an interception. Las Vegas will play on a short week and is in letdown mode following a huge win at Kansas City on Monday. The Raiders stayed UNDER for the sixth time in eight games and the Colts went UNDER by 4.5 points against the Falcons. The Raiders are 11-4 UNDER on the season and 7-2 UNDER their past nine December games. Las Vegas had only 205 net total yards and Aidan O'Connell threw for just 62 yards against the Chiefs and its two TDs were on a fumble return and an interception return. The Raiders have been favored six times this season and have lost five straight up. The defense is No. 27 in yards allowed, No. 26 in points surrendered (25.1 ppg), and No. 30 on third down, while the offense is No. 21 on third down (37.8%). This should allow Indy's struggling offense to score enough to keep this close. The Colts are 21-6 ATS on the road against teams that force one or fewer turnovers game. Las Vegas is 47-93 ATS against losing teams, 55-80 ATS at home after playing their last game on the road, plus 20-40 ATS at home after getting 75 or fewer rushing yards in the last contest.
