The New England Patriots will head to Green Bay and QB Mac Jones will miss the game. This reminds me of a game last year in Buffalo where the New England game plan due to heavy winds was to just run the ball the entire game. The Pats succeeded and passed the ball just 3 times the entire game. I can certainly see Coach Belichick employing a similar offensive strategy against Aaron Rodgers, keeping him off the field as much as possible. The Packer defense completely shut down Chicago limiting them to 10 points and last week held Tampa Bay to 12 points. The Packers are averaging just 16 points per game, but most see an Aaron Rodgers-run team and expect points, but the weapons just aren't there. I like the Under in this game.

Pro Picks
Green Bay at New England
This is a brutal situational spot for Green Bay, off a crushing loss at the Rams on the West Coast and now they have to fly to the East coast to face Belichick, Brady and the Patriots. Green Bay is winless on the road this season and plays its fourth road game in the last six contests. The defense is a soft spot at #17 in points allowed, and just traded former Pro Bowl safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to Washington. The Packers are on a 3-7 spread run, plus 3-7 ATS against winning teams. New England always seems to struggle in September, then Belichick makes adjustments and they get it rolling. That's been the case in 2018 with the Patriots on a 5-0 SU, 4-1 ATS run after playing poorly the first three games in September. New England is #11 on offense in total yards, fourth in points scored (29.9 per game). The Patriots are on a 36-16 ATS run overall and have covered seven straight games at home against teams with losing road marks. They are also on a sizzling 35-15-2 ATS run at home. Back New England.
